Autumn is such a wonderful time of year! The change of season right now is just stunning; crisp orange, red and golden leaves, beautiful mornings snuggled in thick cardigans with the sun warming your face… we love it! This time of year there are some simply gorgeous walks that just seem that little more enjoyable when you know you can wrap up warm and look forward to a hot cup of tea afterwards! So here we have it: just three of our favourite autumn walks in the Cotswolds that are just perfect for little beasts to enjoy too.
Broadway Tower
Although this is a walk where you’ll need to keep your dog on a lead, it is arguably one of the most impressive in the area. A circuit around the tower will take you around 20 minutes so it’s great for if you just want a quick stretch of the legs. There are even some dog agility obstacles to tackle – making this one walk the perfect opportunity to enjoy beautiful surroundings with a hot cuppa!
For those of you that are feeling a little more energetic: walk from the village centre of Broadway up to the tower to reach the highest point with simply breathtaking views. It’s steep in places but its definitely worth it!

Cleeve Common
We love Cleeve Common! With over 1000 acres, nestled within the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty- and with its array of plants, insects, reptiles, birds and wildlife- there is a very real sense of being able to truly get away from the busyness and some-time chaos of everyday life.
Cleeve Common is a great place to take your dog and are actively welcomed. Blenheim Palace
Blenheim Palace is one of those places where beautiful architecture meets stunning gardens and every time you visit you can experience 
something different.
For dog walkers, the only thing you need to be aware of is the fact that you will need to keep them on a lead and steer clear of the formal gardens. Other than that. you’re free to enjoy the impressive sweeping grounds and soak in the rich history. Our favourite dog-friendly walk here takes in the park perimeter and takes around two hours- perfect for lazy Sunday mornings.
