Suffer from sensitive skin? We’ve got you. Here at Little Soap, we carefully choose our ingredients with people like you in mind- because we know just how irritating it can be! Puns aside, we’re really picky about the stuff we put into our bar soaps, and we never ever use harsh or harmful chemicals. But even though we use only clean ingredients in our soap, we know that some of you still have to be careful with what you use- so we thought we’d do a deep dive on the products that are perfect for anyone with really sensitive skin.

Do you have sensitive skin?

It’s not a trick question, but sometimes we might not even realise our skin is sensitive- or we might develop sensitivities seemingly for no reason too. And there’s a difference between dry skin and sensitive skin, although sensitive skin can dry out easily too.

Eco Warrior Sensitive Facial Bar

Our Eco Warrior Sensitive Facial Bar is made with 99.9% natural ingredients- totally free from detergents, SLS, sulphates, alcohol, parabens, sorbates, silicones, palm oil and synthetic preservatives. We chose to make this one with our traditional Mediterranean Castile Olive Oil recipe, and we fragrance it with a gorgeous blend of Chamomile and Calendula essential oils.

It’s super nourishing and really great at soothing skin irritations, thanks to the anti-inflammatory properties of chamomile and the healing powers of calendula. Calendula is also known for its antibacterial properties and it’s super gentle when combined with chamomile, which works to relieve acne and rashes.

Olive oil is also a fantastic ingredient for soap, because it contains special antioxidants that when applied to the skin, help to prevent premature ageing and restore skin smoothness.

An itchy, sore scalp is no fun for anyone, and we know that lots of you have felt unsure about using a shampoo bar due to the problems that traditional liquid shampoo has created. But our Eco Warrior Sensitive Scalp Shampoo Bar is different!

We chose our ingredients because we wanted to cleanse, condition and moisturise your hair- creating a luxurious lather without the need for SLS. We added white clay to remove impurities without stripping your scalp of essential natural oils, and we use clary sage oil to cleanse, moisturise and enhance circulation in the scalp. 

This soap bar is fragranced with an amazing blend of pure mint and eucalyptus essential oils to really help promote healthy hair, and it’s perfect for anyone with sensitive skin. 

Eco Warrior Sensitive Body Bar

Our Eco Warrior Sensitive Body Bar is great for anyone who suffers with dry, itchy patches behind the knees or elbows, or anywhere really- a great little bar for the whole body, and gentle enough to be used by the whole family. 

We make this one with added green clay to help restore balance to the skin. Green clay is also known to gently exfoliate without removing your skin’s natural oils and will remove impurities that can often make irritations worse. We fragrance this bar with a heavenly blend of pure orange, lemon and eucalyptus essential oils to nourish dry skin, reduce inflammation, and soothe irritations and rashes. 

Like all our other products, the Eco Warrior Sensitive Body Bar is 100% vegan, leaping bunny cruelty-free, plastic free and biodegradable- both the soap and the packaging. 

At the end of the day, choosing products with suitable ingredients for sensitive skin can be hard. As a general rule, we always say that if you can’t pronounce an item on the list, it might not be great for you!
